- Proactive involvement in planning, designing and execution across the Sales & Marketing group following SDLC process.

- Active participation in design\build cycle of the software development lifecycle (requirements gathering, prototyping, architecture, detailed design, and development).
Qualification
:
- This position requires excellent oral/written communication skills, and the ability to weed though ambiguity and formulate recommendations clearly. Technical horsepower and critical thinking are required.
- 6+ years of software development experience with C#,.Net programming, WCF Web services , Silverlight, SQL and VSTF 2008\2010.
- Experience working through the full product cycle from initial design to final product delivery.
- Strong customer focus and passion for doing the right thing for the customer.
- Strong cross-group collaboration and influencing skills.
- Self-driven and ability to work with minimal direction and in a team to research innovative solutions to challenging business/technical problems.

:
To manage the Bangalore arm of the global Markets MIS Programme Management Office (PMO). The individual will work closely with the PMO teams in the UK and US to interpret and implement global Markets MIS PMO project and operational processes for the Bangalore MIS community. The individual will report to the Global PMO Manager but also form part of the MIS Bangalore management team. As the majority of MIS delivery and application support activities take place in Bangalore, the individual will have particular responsibility for defining, implementing and assuring best procatice standards and process in these aresa. The individual will lead by example in promoting the PMO as a true partner to the groups program and project managers and applying PMO best practice. The Market MIS department is extremely dynamic, continually seeking to improve the quality of delivery align to the strategic goals of our customers.

Essential Day-to-Day Activities
In particular the individual will be responsible for:
• Leading the team of PMO Analysts in Bangalore
• Defining, implementing and assuring best practice standards and process for software development and application support, working closely with Development and Service Delivery managers
• Communicating and driving and any new global initiatives and processes in Bangalore
• Promoting, training and supporting Bangalore project staff in the Project Delivery Process:
o Partnering program/project managers to ensure adherence to project delivery processes, governance and standards
o Delivering training to new hires
o Running project gateway reviews
• Being the focal point for local questions on all the PMO process, escalating queries where necessary to the Process Owners in the UK and US
• Monitoring and escalating risks, issues and dependencies to the MIS leadership forums for decision
• Ensuring complete, accurate and up-to-date project information
• Implementing quality and performance metrics for both projects and PMO operations processes
• Providing information to the MIS Mgt and Finance for budgeting and planning
• Championing project management within Markets MIS in Bangalore by leading and supporting initiatives to improve competence, compliance and quality
• Managing engagement with third party vendors
• Building and managing key stakeholder relationships in Bangalore (both internal and external to MIS)

People Management
1. Leading the team of PMO Analysts in Bangalore
2. Provide frequent and immediate performance feedback, lead individuals in goal setting and development plan creation, and perform mid-year and year-end performance reviews.
3. Foster and demonstrate an "execution" culture.
4. Participate in global resource planning across multiple releases and all other projects.
5. Participate in recruiting across all teams in Banagalore

Business Strategy and Management
1. Provide leadership on various projects as subject matter expert and/or technical expert.
2. Collaborate with other groups on processes and best practices
3. Pro-active customer service attitude
4. Drive organic growth and improve profitability of the managed projects
Qualification
:
Required Skills:
Demonstrable understanding of full software development lifecycle projects, with detailed understanding of the development and quality assurance phases
• Experience of managing software development projects
• Exceptional organisational and presentation skills
• High level of customer focus
• Able to operate, lead and meet short deadlines in a pressured, busy environment
• Able to manage priorities and resources to ensure the team always delivers key
• A team player with excellent communications skills, who is flexible, pro-active, pragmatic, able to "multi-task" and work under pressure with minimal supervision

Desired Skills:
• Certified project manager preferably through a recognized scheme (Project Management Institute or Prince II)
• A track record of working on global, complex programmes with multidisciplinary teams.
• Awareness and experience in using recognised PMO models
• Experience in budgeting and financial planning
• Expert in recognised project management tools (e.g. CA Clarity or Microsoft Project)
